village of Raduil, at the bottom of the Rila Mountains only a 10 – 15 minute drive from the well established Borovets ski resort. The house faces the village green ensuring panoramic views all year round. Raduil is a quiet village and full of Bulgarian character, but with all of the day to day facilities that you could need, i.e. shops, restaurants and bars. The surrounding mountains, lakes, resorts and spa’s, provide everything you could need for summer and winter holidays.
The house is set on approximately
600 square metres (2000 square feet) of land and the garden has cherry, plum, apple and pear tree’s.
The house has
five bedrooms: 3 double bedrooms - 1 with en suite, and two rooms that have adult bunk beds. Including the en suite there are 2 shower rooms and 1 bathroom. The lounge is very large and on the ground floor there is a kitchen and a formal dining room, garage and boiler room.
On the first floor, there is a covered veranda with steps down to the garden and all the bedrooms have balconies with amazing views. The house has a perimeter wall to the side and front with gated access to the front, which is high enough to get a car through with roof bars (for ski/snowboard etc).
The house has full central heating, double glazing throughout and is connected to mains water, electricity and sewage. The house has solid wooden floors on the first and second floor (except the bathrooms which are tiled), with the ground floor being tiled throughout. The third floor has not been developed yet and has the potential to create further bedrooms, games room etc.
WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT RADUIL VILLAGE
The village of Raduil is located in South-West Bulgaria. It is included in Municipality of Samokov (Sofia District). Raduil village is 10 km from Borovets ski resort, on the way to Dolna Banya. It is 22 km from the town of Samokov and 80 km from Sofia and Sofia International Airport.
The village is highly picturesque, with the main road winding through the village and over the Maritsa river. Being just 8 km from the world class ski resort of Borovets does mean it is a highly popular holiday home destination. Raduil is quite a distinctive village. When you pass through the centre you will see a small jet plane and tank - Remnants from the Communist regime.
There is also a small hotel near the centre in Alpine style, cafes and shops. Numerous guest houses ran by locals are readily available as well due to the large amounts of tourists that visit the village throughout the year.
Just 2 km from Raduil is the famous Pokrov Bogorodichen Monastery which is built over ancient consecrated ground. The monks there do often offer for you to try their dishes which are made from vegetables grown within the grounds of the Monastery and nearby- well worth a visit.
